Hugo Salcedo & his TNT is undoubtedly Australia's premier Latin band, renown for their amazing energy, stage presence and vibrant rhythms.

Led by Colombian percussionist Hugo Salcedo, TNT performs an opulent mix of Cuban and Colombian rhythms, Caribbean breezes and New York vibes. They pay homage to the spirit of old, hard-core Salsa, and shake it up with the sounds of today.

TNT has proudly peformed at some of the most prestigious Latin events around Australia and the world including the 2009 Malaysia World Salsa Congress, 2009 Adelaide Salsa Festival (SA), 2007 and 2008 Sydney Salsa Congress (NSW), 2007 New Zealand Salsa Congress (NZ), 2008 Adelaide Cabaret Festival (SA) and the 2008 Darling Harbour Latin Fiesta (NSW) to name a few.

They have been the support act for some of the world's most celebrated artists including Cuban songstress Omara Portuondo from the Buena Vista Social Club, Jose Feliciano (USA), West African vocalist Angelique Kidjo, Colombian Salsa band La Sonora Carruseles, Edwin Bonilla (USA) , the Kings of Merengue/Hip Hop Fulanito (USA) and bachata Sensation 4ever (USA)
